MISSIONS AND OUTREACH

We believe our mission is to draw people to Christ through ministries of love and reconciliation in our community and around the world. Through these ministries and partnerships, our members have the opportunity to become the living presence of Christ in someone’s life.

Feed My Starving Children (FMSC)

This new mission project was approved by Faith Council this spring. It is a Christian nonprofit dedicated to providing nutritious meals to children worldwide. Most FMSC meals are hand-packed by volunteers with some packed by machine. They are sent to an incredible network of partner organizations that distribute them to those in need. Last year, our Faith FLC was used for a 2-day event and some of our congregation participated. Committees have been organized and we are asking for you to volunteer to plan for this event to be held on January 16-17, 2026. The program requests each host provide financial support for the event. If this project touches your heart, mark your check FMSC. With each meal costing only 29 cents, each of us can make a big impact. Every dollar you give funds three meals and just $106 feeds a child for a year!

Zoe Empowers

Zoe Empowers is a global non‑profit founded in 2004—originally as Zimbabwe Orphan Endeavor—and since 2007 has helped over 231,000 orphaned and vulnerable youth across 12 countries escape extreme poverty through a holistic, three‑year empowerment program. Led entirely by local staff, participants form peer-support groups and receive training and micro-grants in areas like food security, housing, health, education, vocational skills, financial literacy, community engagement, and child rights. Rather than providing charity, Zoe fosters self‑sufficiency—over 95% of graduates are fully independent—enabling lasting change in their families and communities for about $9 USD per month per child

One Way Out

Since 2012, One Way Out Ministries in Fort Myers, Florida, has been a faith-based nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and restoring women—and children—from harmful situations such as sex trafficking, addiction, incarceration, and the sex industry. They proactively reach out in clubs, streets, jails, and brothels to offer practical support: emergency shelter, mentoring, discipleship, Bible studies, individual counseling, rides to court or appointments, job training, life-skills coaching, and legal advocacy. Their goal is to guide each woman toward wholeness and freedom through unconditional love, spiritual renewal, and community reintegration—and they’ve seen many win back custody of their children, complete court-ordered plans, and rebuild their lives.

Blankets & Blessings

Blankets & Blessings is a volunteer-run nonprofit that donates handmade blankets and essential items to children, seniors, infants, and shelter pets. Through community sewing, fundraising, and outreach, they bring warmth and comfort to those in need during holidays, emergencies, and local crises.
