ADULT MINISTRIES

DISCIPLESHIP

A disciple of Jesus Christ is a person who has decided that the most important thing in their life is to learn how to live and do what Jesus lived and did.

They are not a person who has things under control, or knows a lot of things. Disciples simply are people who are constantly revising their beliefs and actions to carry through on their decision to follow Jesus.

Jesus said to the people who believed in Him,

“You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings.

And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

John 8:31-32 (NLT)

SMALL GROUPS

A Small Group brings believers together in fellowship.  The members of the group, usually numbering 6-10, support each other as they grow in faith through discussions and prayer.

A Host will invite, schedule and lead a Small Group in his or her home on a regular basis.  A Small Group is meant to be a comfortable place where everyone can participate, ask questions, request prayers, and feel loved.  Small Groups build relationships and understanding, just as Jesus did with his group of Twelve.

If you are interested in joining a Small Group or becoming a Host of a Small Group, please email Donna Cressman or George Boyer.
