Gary Rushing began work at Faith UMC on Jan. 22, 2007. Gary has 25 years of experience in music ministry, having most
recently served as the Minister of Music at Cypress Lake Presbyterian for six years and prior to that as the Contemporary Worship Leader at Grace United Methodist in Cape Coral. Gary attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, TX, where he earned a Masters of Arts in Communications Degree. He did his undergraduate work at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri, where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music. Gary’s service at Faith combines leadership of the Contemporary Worship and Praise Service with our new position that emphasizes ministry to families of our congregation. We welcome Gary and his wife Cheryl to Faith Church and we pray for him as he starts this new exciting ministry.
